• Catlett and Tauxe, 2014, Implementation of Diffusion in GoldSim, a paper detailing an effective method for programming diffusion in air and water phases in partially-saturated media using GoldSim. This method allows for your own choice of phase=specific tortuosity models. This paper was developed with Dr. Catlett and other researchers and GoldSim experts while John was at Neptune and Company and is reposted here with permission.
• Tauxe 2019, Notes on the GoldSim Plume Function, a paper providing calculation details and practical examples on the plume() function in GoldSim. This function is an implementation of the advection dispersion equation in 3 dimensions (see my PhD dissertation below). This paper was also developed by John while at Neptune and Company and is reposted here with permission.
